1: AFG Afghan National Army officer Abdul Bashir Hedayat was killed in the fighting against Taliban in Balkh province last night. The commando officer had studied in India 🇮🇳 and was widely respected as a formidable battlefield commander.

Commander Qand Agha Andarabi, killed in a roadside bomb blast while Commander Samad Khosti was killed in Dawlatabad district of same province.

3: Matiullah Barakzai Kang district Police chief in Nimroz province was killed. Taliban launched a large scale attack against the district, the district police HQ fell to the Taliban. Matiullah Barakzai was a formidable ANDSF commander.
