1: If You Think Politics Doesn’t Affect You, Watch This | Vijender Masijeevi
Many people proudly say, “I don’t care about politics” or “I am apolitical.”
But what if this statement itself is deeply political?
In this video, I explain why being apolitical is not about innocence – it is about privilege.
Politics does not only exist in Parliament, TV debates, or elections. Politics decides:
• Who gets education
• Who faces discrimination
• Who can afford silence
• Who pays the price of policies
• Who is safe and who is not
For the privileged, politics can be ignored.
For the marginalized — Dalits, Adivasis, minorities, women, workers – politics is unavoidable.
Silence is not neutral.
Neutrality always sides with power.
In this video, we discuss:
• Why “I am apolitical” is a political statement
• How silence allows discrimination to continue
• Who benefits when common people stop caring about politics
• Why neutrality in injustice is not moral
• How everyday life – petrol prices, exams, housing, jobs is political
If you believe politics does not affect you, this video is especially for you.
This is not about supporting any party.
This is about understanding power, privilege, silence, and responsibility.
Watch till the end.
