1:Tajik citizen, Ilkhomi Sayrakhmonzoda was arrested by Italian authorities at the Fiumucino Airport, Rome, Italy.
He is a member of the Islamic State who travelled to Syria in 2014 and remained an active member of IS, wanted in several countries.
He was travelling from the Netherlands and his final destination was Italy.

3: Yesterday, the Digos of the Italian Police arrested an ISIS member at Rome’s Fiumicino airport who had arrived on a flight from Eindhoven.
He used to move around easily with false identities from Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan.
This is Ilkhomi Sayrakhmonzoda, he is Tajik and fought in Syria in 2014. Last summer he was arrested in another counterterrorism operation in Belgium, but was released the day after being detained.
It is feared that he had influence to form a new jihadist cell, and he has been able to travel in recent years to countries as diverse as
Russia, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Egypt, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, and China.

Accused of being an active member of the Islamic State since traveling to Syria in 2014, he was found with 2,000 Euros in cash in his suitcase and is wanted in several countries for terrorism-related crimes.
