Sheikh Abdul Rahim Muslim Dost al-Afghani, may God protect him, is one of the scholars of the Islamic State. He has a certificate and permission in interpretation and hadith from Sheikh Badiuddin Shah Rashidi (may God have mercy on him). Many scholars of the Al-Qaeda organization have obtained certificates in hadith and interpretation from him. He is the author of 58 books in Arabic and Pashto, and his scholarly and practical contributions to the jihadi arena are well-known.
After the Russian invasion of Afghanistan in 1979, he went to Peshawar and was engaged in jihad against Russia. After the invasion of the United States in 2001, he was arrested and spent four years in Guantanamo Bay before being released in 2005. After his release, he wrote his memoirs of Guantanamo Bay under the title “Broken Chains”, which led to his arrest again by the Pakistani intelligence agency (ISI) and his release in a prisoner exchange three years later. After that, he went to the tribal areas and Afghanistan and took over preaching and guiding the Mujahideen and military operations.
Dream and its interpretation:
While imprisoned in Guantanamo in 1423 AH, he dreamed that he was in a palace and that it was twelve minutes short. He was told that it was twelve seconds short of the capital. A friend interpreted this to mean that the caliphate would be established after twelve years. Sheikh Abdul Rahim Muslim Dost says that by the grace of Allah, this interpretation proved true when the Islamic State’s Shura declared the caliphate twelve years later in 1435 AH. Praise be to Allah and praise be to Him.
