Banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan was formed in 2007, when the Lal Masjid in Islamabad incident occurred.

The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, which was banned, was founded by Baitullah Mehsud.

Banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan leader declares that the Banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) will be under the Bayah and Leadership of IEA (Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan).

But in the start, the main objective of Banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was they establish Sharia Law in Pakistan, and the second objective was that the Pakistan government should break the Coalition and support the US and NATO against IEA (Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan).

TTP leaders

TTP’s first leader was killed by the U.S. in a drone strike on 5 August 2009, in South Waziristan.

TTP’s second leader, Hakeem Ullah Massod, was killed in a U.S. drone strike in North Waziristan on 1 November 2013

TTP’s third leader, Maulana Fazlullah, was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Kunar Province of Afghanistan on June 14, 2022.

TTP’s current leader is Mufti Noor Wali Mehsod.
